Description

The School of Physical Therapy (SOPT) in the College of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position. The rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The candidate will have the ability to teach in two or more of the following areas: evidence-based practice/research methodology, clinical skills, geriatrics, acute care, home health, cardiopulmonary, or clinical physiology. Additional teaching opportunities may exist in selected areas based on education, experience, or specialty certification. The faculty member will participate in both independent and team teaching. Responsibilities will include teaching and advising DPT students, active engagement in scholarship, and participation on relevant school, college, and university committees. Release time is available for clinical practice in the community or for professional consultation.
